A Fair Review of an SEO Blogger's Own Site: farisyudza.com by Faris Yudza Ghifari

An SEO practitioner's own website is the first thing a prospective client can check for themselves. This post reviews farisyudza.com, the blog and service page of Faris Yudza Ghifari, on what is publicly visible: the credentials are solid and the search basics are sound, while the site's speed, its accessibility and the evidence behind its paid services are weaker.
This is my opinion and analysis of publicly visible material, reviewed on 27 September 2026 from screenshots of LinkedIn, the live site, a PageSpeed Insights run and three Threads posts. I did not test rankings, traffic, Search Console data or client results, and I am not judging the person. Faris Yudza Ghifari is invited to respond (see the end of this post).
Disclosure and scope
Two things you should know before reading.
First, I recently published a similar review of another SEO practitioner, Rafiq Al Hafizh Adha. Faris Yudza Ghifari later commented on that subject on Threads, which is part of why this review exists. I have tried to hold his site to the same standard I used there and to the standard he states himself. If you think I have not, the right of reply below is open.
Second, this review is about publicly stated work: his LinkedIn profile, his site and his own public posts. It makes no finding about his character, and it does not rely on anything said about him by other people.
What I reviewed and how
I looked at four things:
- His LinkedIn profile (headline, experience, education).
- The homepage and the "Pesan Jasa SEO" (order SEO services) page of farisyudza.com.
- A PageSpeed Insights report for the site, taken on 27 September 2026 at 12:21 AM (GMT+7), desktop and mobile.
- Three of his Threads posts from the same period.
All nine screenshots are embedded in this post so that you can check each claim against the source.
The credentials
His LinkedIn headline reads: "Digital Marketing and Website Associate at Primecare Clinic | Blogger farisyudza.com | Certified Impactful Writer | 4 Years of Experience in SEO."

The experience section lists:
- Digital Marketing and Website Associate, PrimeCare Clinic, full-time, July 2025 to present. Duties: website management and SEO (including local SEO), and digital ads on Meta and Google.
- Freelance Contributor, DailySEO ID, November 2023 to present, remote.
- Blogger, farisyudza.com, self-employed, May 2023 to present, described as a blog to build a portfolio, learn new things and earn passive income from AdSense. Skills listed: Google Search Console and SEO.

His education is a bachelor's degree in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (2016 to 2020, GPA 3.07) and a master's degree in Communication from Universitas Indonesia (August 2024 to August 2026, GPA 3.77, Cum Laude). The master's thesis is described as research on the effect of authorship cues and bandwagon cues on the perception of message credibility.

This is a credible, relevant profile. A communication master's with a credibility-perception thesis is directly useful to content and SEO work. One small observation: the headline claims four years of SEO experience, while the earliest SEO-related entry I could see starts in May 2023, about three and a half years ago. The extra time may sit in entries I did not see, so I treat this as a question and not a finding.
What holds up
- The practitioner is real and verifiable. A named employer, a named freelance client and a long-running public blog give a prospective client something to check.
- The search basics are healthy. The PageSpeed report gives the site 92 for SEO and 92 for Best Practices on both desktop and mobile.
- The service page is clear about what is offered. It lists SEO audit and SEO content editing, with a plain description of each step (audit, root-cause analysis, recommendations and an action plan). The content-editing service states a price of Rp150,000 to Rp200,000 per article.
- He states the right principle about scores. In a reply on Threads he wrote that scores do not have to be 100 and that it is better to watch month-on-month progress: growth in indexed pages, impressions and clicks, and even leads from the website. I agree with this, and it is the standard I apply below.

What does not hold up
The report below is a snapshot, and PageSpeed results vary between runs. Even so, the size of the gap matters.
| PageSpeed Insights (27 Sep 2026) | Performance | Accessibility | Best Practices | SEO |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Desktop | 32 | 85 | 92 | 92 |
| Mobile | 10 | 87 | 92 | 92 |

1. The site is slow, especially on mobile. On mobile, First Contentful Paint is 10.9 s, Largest Contentful Paint is 14.8 s, Total Blocking Time is 1,360 ms and Cumulative Layout Shift is 0.474. On desktop, LCP is 3.0 s, TBT is 940 ms and CLS is 0.187. Google's own thresholds for a "good" LCP and CLS are 2.5 s and 0.1, so every one of these is outside them, and the mobile numbers are far outside. Most Indonesian web traffic is on mobile, so this is the version that matters. He is right that scores do not have to be 100. A 10 is not a perfect-score problem. It is a page that takes about fifteen seconds to show its main content on a phone under the test conditions.
2. The speed gap sits next to a paid audit service. The site offers to audit other people's sites and to find "root causes." A visitor who runs the same PageSpeed test on the audit seller's own homepage will see the result above. A blog carrying ads, badges and widgets often trades speed for revenue, and that is a legitimate choice, but it should be a stated one.
3. Accessibility is mid-range and the layout moves. The Accessibility score is 85 on desktop and 87 on mobile. A CLS of 0.474 on mobile means content visibly jumps while loading. I did not run a manual accessibility audit, so I cannot say which elements cause the lower score.
4. Floating elements cover page content. On the service page, a "Sewa Agensi Pemasaran" (hire a marketing agency) overlay sits on top of the right column and partly covers the Seedbacklink badge. The same page carries a large "Verified by Seedbacklink" badge and an "Add as a preferred source on Google" button. In the PageSpeed thumbnails, a floating panel and a chat button occupy the lower part of the screen. Overlays like these are a common cause of layout shift and can hide the content a visitor came for.

5. The audit service shows no evidence and no price. The SEO audit is listed with the price "open for negotiation," while the content-editing service has a stated range. I could not see a sample audit, a named client result, a before-and-after metric or a case study on the service page. By his own standard (growth in indexed pages, impressions, clicks and leads), the page does not show that growth for his own site or a client's. It may exist in Search Console. It is not visible to a prospective client.
The standard he set, applied to his own site
His Threads reply names the right things to watch: indexed pages, impressions, clicks and leads, tracked month by month. Applying that standard to farisyudza.com, the honest answer is that I cannot tell. I looked at PageSpeed, not Search Console, and the public pages do not show a growth trend. His profile says he has run the blog since May 2023 and that it earns AdSense income, which is at least a sign that it has traffic. A short public note with a few months of impressions and clicks would answer the question and would make the service page far more persuasive.
The Threads posts
Three of his Threads posts from the same period are included for completeness and are not part of the scored review.
The first reads, in Indonesian, "Et dah nyesel nanggepin. Orangnya aja udah dikick dari grup alumni jurusannya sendiri. Buang waktu dan energi aja." (roughly: "Ugh, I regret responding. The person was even kicked from their own department's alumni group. Just a waste of time and energy."). It does not name its subject, so I cannot tell who it refers to, and I make no finding about the claim in it. Another account replied, "kwkwkwkwk problematik bgt kyknya" ("lol, seems really problematic"). I do not assess that comment either.

The second is the reply quoted above about scores. It also contains the sentence "Kalau perkara somasi silahkan langsung bicarakan saja dengan ybs" ("if it is a matter of a legal warning, please just discuss it directly with the person concerned"). That is a reasonable thing to say, and it is consistent with the right of reply offered below.
The third is a post from another account asking, "Ada ribut ribut apa nih, CEO mensomasi SEO?" ("What's the fuss, a CEO sending a legal warning to an SEO?"), to which he replied only "hmmmmm."

None of this changes the assessment of the site. A public comment is not evidence about the quality of someone's SEO work, and I have kept it out of the findings above.
What a client should ask for
If you are hiring Faris Yudza, or any SEO freelancer, ask for:
- A baseline and an outcome: the metric before, after and over what period.
- A sample audit with client details removed, so you can judge depth before you pay.
- Search Console screenshots for a site he has grown, showing indexed pages, impressions and clicks over time.
- His own site's speed plan: whether the mobile results are a known trade-off and what he would fix first.
- A written price for the audit, not "open for negotiation."
Limits of this review
- Everything here comes from public material visible on 27 September 2026. Pages change, so the findings may not reflect later fixes.
- PageSpeed Insights results vary from run to run and by network conditions. I used one run for each device.
- I did not test rankings, traffic, backlinks, Search Console data or the accuracy of any claim on his LinkedIn profile.
- I did not run a manual accessibility audit, so I cannot say what causes the Accessibility scores.
- Strong Best Practices and SEO scores are real. They do not measure whether his SEO work produced business results.
- I have no authenticated connection to the Threads accounts shown beyond what the screenshots display.
- This is my opinion and not professional certification of anyone's competence.
