Rahmat Wibowo vs. Nomni AI (PT Nomnie Technologies Indonesia, formerly Liven.love): Case Summary

A short summary of my labor dispute with Nomni AI (nomni.ai), PT Nomnie Technologies Indonesia, formerly Liven.love. For the full account, see My Labor Dispute with PT Nomnie Technologies Indonesia.

Summary

I was terminated during my probation period as a Senior DevOps Engineer at PT Nomnie Technologies Indonesia, the company operating as Nomni AI (previously known as Liven). The dispute was raised through a bipartite meeting at Disnakertrans Kabupaten Tangerang, which ended in deadlock, recorded in a signed Berita Acara.

My claims, in brief:

  • Notice period. I received five working days' notice, which I believe falls short of the 7-working-day minimum under PP No. 35/2021, Pasal 37 ayat 4.
  • Referral commissions. More than 50 candidate referrals I submitted to the company's hiring pipeline went uncompensated after my termination.
  • Pre-start contribution. I was given system access and contributed work (including incident-response documentation) before my official start date.
  • A verbal assurance from the CEO about long-term employment, which factored into my decision to decline other offers, was not honored.

These are my own claims and interpretation of Indonesian labor law — I'm not a lawyer, and no court has ruled on this dispute. Nomni AI has not agreed with this account, and I can't speak to their side of the bipartite process.

I'm keeping this page as a short index; the fuller write-up with dates and detail is linked above.
